The ExploreNorth Blog

About Us

This blog is yet another project of Murray Lundberg, a historian, tour guide, writer and photographer who lives in the little village of Carcross, in Canada's Yukon Territory (you can see our view on our live webcam, and the cabin here). Monty and Kayla are Alaskan huskies who live with him, and are his companions for most expeditions into the backcountry. They have their own Web pages at "Everything Husky!".

I came to the conclusion a few years ago that I was born a Northerner, it just took me 40 years to get home! The more of this amazing land I see, the further I want to explore, and my Web sites (and blog) now allow me to share that passion. My main Web sites are:

  • ExploreNorth
  • CarcrossYukon.com
  • "Everything Husky!"
  • RailsNorth.com
  • YukonAlaska.com

    1. Hi Murray:
You may remember us from a visit to your cabin last summer while we were visiting Debbie’s sister in Whitehorse. We left some garlic with Cathy in town. Hope you enjoyed it.
Just having a look at your new blog. Looks great and we expect to see a lot of info here on the north. We are probably not coming up this summer but hope to see you again some time.
      Garry & Debbie
